Explore the difference vintage makes in this 6-Pack vertical.
This pack includes 2 each of our 2018, 2019 and 2020 County Chardonnays.
Each is crafted in our low-intervention style and showcases brilliantly each vintage — each with tension and verve, but so unique from each other.
Each is hand-picked at just peak ripeness to maintain great acidity, whole-cluster pressed and put to mostly larger-format, older, French oak puncheons for about 10 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulphurs added at bottling only.
Enjoy now or after another few years for further cellaring.
93 Pts - David Lawrason
“Here’s a very elegant, refined and tightly woven chardonnay that scores on balance, complexity and length. Not overtly aromatic but the aromatics are a fine fusion of toast, nutmeg, breadcrust and vague dried apple fruit. Mid-weight, very even and lively yet showing some chardonnay richness as well. Hints of oxidation but it plays very well. The length is excellent to outstanding. This is non-obvious, beguiling, palate pleasing chardonnay.”
93 Pts - Rick VanSickle
“Such verve and intensity on the palate with rich and creamy pear, apple skin, lees, lemon, spice and driven by profound flint and salinity that all lead to a fresh and finessed finish. It’s a beautiful expression of Country fruit.”

“…It’s all about the County tension — there’s real verve and an electric current running through - as well as the typical limestone twang and equally common salinity and sapidity… Great palate presence and complexity, a mineral lover’s selection to be sure, crystalline and pure.”

“What an extraordinary Chardonnay from County superstar winemaker Mackenzie Brisbois. The unique and complex nose of lemon curd, gunflint minerality, peach blossoms, sweet pear, saline, crushed seashells and fully integrated spice notes draw you in for more. There is tension and verve on the palate with beautiful pear, lemon, flint in spades, subtle spice notes and a touch of smoke in a fresh and vivid style that shows precision and depth through a long and finessed finish. Would love to revisit this in 5+ years.“
