Fermented directly in new and older French oak, this wine exhibits distinct 2014 cooler-vintage characteristics: stoney fruit, peach, cinnamon and slate. The oak fermenting adds substance in terms of a light yet layered texture. This wine underwent partial malolactic fermentation, forcing a playful tension on the palate, allowing the lighter fruit to shine.
