“The fruit is bright and savory and overall, the finesse and authenticity of this wine are notable.”

“It's delicate and elegant, with considerable depth and length, handled carefully. This should hit full drinking stride in another year and hold into the mid-twenties.”

“Beautiful dark fruit. …Really speaks of that rarely achieved Niagara Cabernet Franc imposiibility. Soil-clay funky, so pure and precise. Carries that feign of sweetness, low alcohol, fruit depth but so not heavy and with plenty of spice.”

Hand harvested fruit was destemmed and a total of three weeks was spent macerating on the skins before being pressed and put to French oak barrels for 13 months. Bottled unfiltered.
-
Perfectly focused but not overpowering, this wine is very tightly knit.
This wine will benefit from some ageing, giving the slightly restrained aromatics of
wild blackberry, bitter coffee, and cedar a chance to truly shine. Fine, but bracing
tannins as well as a pleasant rustic acidity provide structure and freshness to this wine, rounding out a palate dominated by rich dark fruit. A deep and complex wine.
