“Is it an atypical, mad scientist outtake? Perhaps. (But) there is pretty little funk, and lemon like you've not nosed before. Beautifully arid. Timbered troken at its finest.”

Multi-layered bouquet of black licorice, thyme and marmalade that will continue to evolve as the wine ages. A fully dry and crisp palate lace intricately with the round structure imparted from the extended lees contact while oak ageing. A generous finish
of charred lemons and rich cream.
-
It was aged on original lees in neutral oak for 10 months. The wine completed full malolactic fermentation. Bottled unfiltered with minimal sulphur.
