93 PTS - Jamie Goode
“Supple and fresh with nice brightness and a slight meatiness. Very floral cherry fruit, with some sour cherry notes on the palate. Elegant and focussed with great acidity.”
Fruit was hand harvested from our estate vineyard on October 12, 2017. Grapes weredestemmed into open top barrels and cold soaked for 3 days. Fermented naturally until dryness with punch downs twice daily. Pressed after 2 weeks on the skins and allowed to settle before being put to barrel. Aged for 10 months in French oak - 40% of which new.
A bright and richly perfumed County Pinot Noir. Notes of allspice with layers of sour cherry and cranberry. Bright acidity and crisp minerality on the palate with a light tannin structure.
