Its red and its brilliant! Consisting of 55% Baco Noir and 45% Cabernet Franc, grown on the Trail Estate Vineyard — this Pét Nat is surely the first to utilize Baco in spakling! It was pressed in a small basket press near the end of fermentation and bottled immediately without the addition of any yeasts, sugars or sulphurs — yielding naturally-ocurring bubbles. Nearly dry, complex, yet youthfully exuberant. Unfined and unfiltered. Serve chilled and handle gently. Drink young. Enjoy!
Note: some foaming-over is normal with Pet Nats. To minimize this make sure wine is well chilled and open cap slowly, wait 5-10 seconds and remove cap entirely.
